Official launch of our website

On February 8th, 2011 our WG website was officially launched and announced on the IMIA News site (http://imianews.wordpress.com/).

WG workshop results (MIE 2011 in Oslo)

Our working group and the IMIA WG 'Smart Homes and Ambient Assisted Living' has hosted a workshop at the 23rd International Conference of the European Federation of Medical Informatics (EFMI) on Wednesday, Aug. 31st, 2011. The workshop was attended by some 35 participants and sparked intensive discussions.

PervaSense2012 workshop

Our WG has co-hosted the 4th international workshop PervaSense “Situation recognition and medical data analysis in Pervasive Health environments” (PERVASENSE2012, www.pervasense.org). It was held in San Diego, USA on May 21, 2012. It was organized in conjunction with the 6th International ICST Conference on Pervasive Computing in Healthcare (Pervasive Health).
